Default flower list?

Does anyone know of a good edible flower list? I just bought a bunch of seeds but the only website that I've come across so far is the
http://www.epicureanhermit.com/ which is a good site but I need to know if you can use other varieties then the ones they have on there. Such as, I bought 3 different types of sunflowers but they aren't the specific type that are on the list. Any ideas?

I forgot to say, please don't do any extra research, I can do that. I was mostly just wondering if someone had something on hand.

Keries food list isn't complete. They might not be listed on there due to no ones ever tried those kind. You can do a feeding trial of them, but I'm pretty sure they are safe. I've fed mine different sunflower seeds(black, natural and brown) and they had to come from different plants.

I forgot to add, to see if a plant is toxic do a search like this.

sunflower + toxic (or any other word)

ok thanks I'll do that and I have tried dandelions but they just let them die and I never saw them over by them so I don't think they like them very much but I want to try them since I found out that when they're young they taste like honey and when they are older they taste bitter. Besides curiosity killed the cat not the person, right?

Oh, I know and thank you for that I really appreciate it. My hermies are just very picky and at times drive me crazy because I thought they are supposed to be scavengers. Thanks again though for the ideas though I'll try anything people suggest. The only thing I know they really like is honey.

I've fed lilacs and bluebells before with no ill effects. I'm not sure if those are on the list. I know I know I mentioned it to Kerie, but she's been overly busy.

Well we have lilacs in the back yard and I hope they bloom before I go home. I'll buy some blue bell seeds also, thanks for the info.
