I'm new and just wanna say hi! I have 3 crabs - all small. Names a Zoyberg, Pinchy and Fred.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've only had the crabbies for less than a month but they are being spoiled already. I have had two shell changes, which surprised me so soon.

What are the difference in beta and pp's - what does pp stand for? I assume e-crabs are ecuadorian...... looking for knowledge

Beta's are a certain kind of fish species! They are not related to hermit crabs at all.
There are also other species of hermit crabs like
E - ecuadorian
Rug - ruggie
Straw - strawberry
Cav - Cavipe
PP - Purple Pincher
CC - crazy crab
and there is also a few other miscellaneous species of crabs. Oh, before I 4get, welcome to HCRU!
