Hiya everyone, i'm marg from the UK, I have 26 land hermits crabs, all purple pincers, keeping hermies is very new to the UK and most of our pet stores and withdrawn them now, making it hard to buy the stuff we need to keep them.

Anyway i look forward to getting to know you guys.

glad to have you here- I thought they were always around in the Uk just not very common- that is a shame you are having troubles. Vckums has a store and I think she can ship international now- that will help with supplies at least!

I've ordered from the US before, its just a pain having to, choya wood, cholla or cactus wood is so hard to get hold of, and when we can its only small bits, i see from some of your set ups you have huge pieces of it, I'm very jealous lol.

I went to the Crabbage Patch last month and got two cholla logs, both about 12" long. And they do ship overseas.

Welcome "marg"! I hope you will find allof the information you need and some good company as well! On this site you can "fly your freak flag" and tell anything you want to about your crabs without getting weird looks from other people. I find that people are interested to find out that you keep land hermit crabs, but they just don't understand the culture!
