Now First Off, You Should Never Kill/Or Injure A Hermit Crab.
A Possible Reason For Your Land Hermit Crab Pinching You Is, It Simply Didn't Feel Comfertable Enough For You To Handle Him Yet. Now Having A Land Hermit Crab Is A Big Responsibility, You Must Care, Play, And Serve A Fantastic Home For It to Live In.
It Takes A Couple Days/Or Even Weeks Before An Animal Can Feel Confertable Around It's New Environment! Now If You Have Ever Moved to A New School, Moved Houses, Or Even Met New Friends, You Also Know, That It Takes time For you To Be Confertable Enough to Tell Secrets To, Or To Cry Infront Of This Person,Your Hermit Crab Is the Same Way.
After A Couple Days, Or Weeks, Try Gently Picking Your Hermit Crab Up And Gently Placing Him On The Palm Of Your Hand, If Your Hermit Crab Feels Like You Are Not A Predater Or just Feels Confertable Enough, He Will Slowly Start Coming Out On your Hand, Remeber: Don't Make Any Sudden Movements Or Purposely Scare The Hermit Crab.
Once Your Dont Handling Your Hermit Crab, Slowly And Gently Place it Back Into It's "Crabitat"
