Good theme. You would need to get a hermie that is in a shell that has the paint starting to chip. Then watch it to see if it starts to eat the paint.
How about.... A day in the life of a hermit crab. Now if you had one of those little cameras that go in tight spots, you could film a tunneler and see if they party down there.

I was thinking a crab cam...a little camera attached to the crab
 You could make a movie about setting up a crabitat.. Just make sure you are doing EVERYTHING right. There's a horrible movie out there featuring some teacher that thinks she knows how to care for hermits....she does everything just like the pet store would tell you too...she's the laughing stock of the hermit crab community!!
