Hermie Crafts

I'd like to see some of your hermit crab themed craft projects. Has anyone been inspired to paint, sculpt, etc?

Me, I've been on a huge sewing kick making baby blankets for my newborn nephew. His big sister (8 yrs old) helped out by painting squares of denim w/ fabric paints and one of her designs was--of course--hermit crabs. (This is the same neice from whom I got my first two crabs: Tank & Dozer.) Anyway, I sewed the patches into a quilt and made a tote to carry it in:

Wow you sew very nicely!! That is really adorable - maybe you can add that to your food line- Hermie totes!

HEY!!!! NOW this is my kind of tread!!!

i don't have pic yet but ill put them up as soon as i get them but ive made many Hermie huts, Drawings,t-shrits ( thanks to SnapFish) and a lot mor that i can even rember!!!lol Glad to know there is another crab crazy Crafter out there!!!!!!! nice quilt by the way...I like the shade of blues. is it denium???

Thanks! Yes it is a very light-weight denim and a cotton blend print w/ metallic star dust. Newborns are puke and pooh machines so I never do pastels for babies. The backing is pillow ticking, so is the tote. I'd love to sew for Crabotanicals, but the food prep is eats up a lot of time. I'd like to do an Etsy.com store for this sort of thing, but not all of it can be crab-themed. I'd love to see your crafts too! But we ought to keep it hermit-crab related

I would love to do something, but I'm too busy.....I do have a check book cover with a hermit crab on it....my mom bought it for me and I'm not sure where she got it.....

hmmm...I make soaps, wonder how I can incorporate a hermie soap....I'll have to think and experiment with this one!! it may come out neat

I'm very in to sewing myself.
However, I can't find any really good fabric shops. :/
I also do that Crayola air dry clay stuff. Love it. I should make a hermit. :P
I really like drawing hermits on stuff. xD If you look at my notes for school you'll see a bunch of pictures of Audrey and Peewee.
