It's not such a big deal now because she passed on a few weeks ago, but theres something still bothering me about Carrie's coloring before she passed.

I noticed that her color had drained, and that I kept finding her naked, so I put her in iso, figuring some "alone time" might do her good.

Within the next few days, she had turned a clear/yellow color. I was amazed that she was still alive. She was also still vacating shells, so I would put a few right beside her and she would get in one.

I eventually found her naked & dead one morning. After seeing the color she turned and assuming it meant she was sick, and her constantly running around naked, I was a little relieved.

Clearly something was wrong, but in all my crabbing I've NEVER seen a crab look the way she did towards the end.

Crabs will look pale before a molt. It might be that she was into her molt but too stressed or weak.

Yeah maybe that was her problem. Its a shame she passed but it was becoming obvious that she was out of sorts.
As I said, I had just never seen this with any of my crabs before.
