I'm so lonely and miss my little crab friends. My 4 big crabs are buried, thats my entire 20g tank. In my little tank (10g), with my little crabs, 3 are buried and one appears to be doing a surface molt.
I'm bored. Late in the evening my husband watches his "man" shows and I play with the crabs, give them treats, change their water, etc. Now I find myself constantly checking my tanks, hoping someone will come up ![]() Also, I'm noticing that small crabs surface molt alot. My Robby just had one, and now it appears that Casper is too. However, the other 2 in the tank have been buried for almost 2 weeks... Is it common for little ones to surface molt???

I know what you're going through. A couple of weeks ago, all mine were buried and we have the same exact routine at our house!! My husband doesn't understand how I can spend so much time "playing" with crabs!!! But now, thank goodness, all are up and about and healthy!! I worry so much when they molt, but all were uneventful and over...for now!!!
I have no idea about the little ones surface molting. I had one do that for his first molt, but it hasn't happened since.
