Adopting today!!

I am hopefully adopting 2 very neglected hermies today--I am excited to help save a poor hermies soul. Hopefully they will make it thru their ISO period. Will post pics here when I get them........stay tuned

ok talk about GROSS!!!!!!!!!! the poor crabs were in nasty-filthy-moldy- (I can go on and on)- tank- The one is a real spitfire named Blitzen

--the other had just surfaced molted and had dropped a leg.......havent even seen his/her face yet - they will be Jingle or Dixie.........depends on the sex. The crab still hasnt eaten the exo---I had to give him a bath as I wasnt sure what was what. I know most would not have and there is a chance he wont make it but there was rotted flesh in his shell and I had to check for bugs being there were in such bad conditions............

Dixie or Jingle:

Both have a super long ISO ahead as they are really nutritionally a mess. They have been thru alot this week. Say a prayer for the little guys/gal.

They were posted on craigslist--someone got them. They said that this woman was going to leave them on the porch.......so this "someone" wrote to me (after I inquired by the original poster if they were still around- she said no which prompted me to write an ad stating I would take unwanted hermies) asking for advice on how to take care of them.......she then realized it was too much work-so she asked me to take them............confused? LOL

Its cold for crying out loud- why would you leave them on the porch? I mean its like 40's at times.

People irk me- at least the 2nd person knew they did not want the work and asked me for help.

Today the molter does not seem good- Blitzen changed shells and rummaged thru Vickis food dish

tho- he will make it---

Thanks the woman I got them from said when she cleaned the tank it was all moldy on the bottom. I would have puked!!!
