Okay, after having such a traumatic time with molts. I just wanted to breathe a sigh of relief when I realized today that my last crab was surfaced after a successful, uneventful, fast molt!! I didn't even realize that was what he was doing! He was only down for about a week, but came up today just as pretty as can be!! Out of 7 molts, 3 were rocky, but I feel better knowing that all 7 have molted and survived!! I have lost 3 crabbies since starting this wild journey in April. 2 two PPS and one I believe was trying to molt and died. Snoopy, my first molt that ya'll got me through, is getting ready to molt agian! He lost a leg the first time around, and now he has the "water sac" and a gel limb is forming!! He is under a hut digging as I type!
There is never a dull moment in crabbing!!!
