Ants!ants!ants!

I have ANTS AGAIN!!!3,rd time!

I found out where they came from....my window & I sprayed ant killer all around the tank & inside & outside of the window.I took my hermies out before I did all this & put them in iso.I washed out there food bowl,shells,& a few toys.Anybody know how to prevent the ants from coming back?I'm getting really really frustrated right now.Idk what to do???

Was the window opened or closed when this happened? If it was closed it may not be sealed properly and since your parents may think that because of ants is a bogus reason to get it fixed just say that its because the draft makes you get too cold or you are afraid clowns will get in and eat you.

ha ha nice joke. i say spray the window with ant killer that last 6 months, you that frount line stuff ( i think that waht it called)

Closed.Lol.I'm going to move the crabitat tommrow.(AWAY FROM ANY WINDOWS)I would move it today but,I'm trying to kill as many ants as possible.(Ant killer spray outside of the "tat" window in & out.)Also I'm taking a paper towel & catching most of them & killing them.

Ortho in home defense works best and is pet safe after it dries. It will stop them for like three months. Also it is water proof.

I would think putting crabs next to the window would change the temperature and humidity of the cage based upon the changing weather patterns.

As for the clowns id be more afraid of my dolls in my bedroom at night.

Only thing I could think of was to get a basin that your tank could fit in, and file with about an inch of water. Might work as long as you do not have an UTH and a smaller setup.
