OK, I am sold! I am ordering my volcano tonight! I'm planning a signficant re-do of my big tank in preparation for adding my many new crabs at the end of the month, and this will be a nice addition.

Oh, they will love it.. when you consider that it is all open space underneath, and it adds nice height for climbing, the little bit of space it takes up is well worth it.

I got my volcano today (from Big Apple Herp). I just set it up in my kitchen to make sure it works, and oh WOW is it cool! Hopefully I'll get it into my tank tonight so that my crabs can fall in love with it too. The mist it generates felt really good to me (especially on my sunburn) and I bet they will love it too. However, I think my micro would fit through the fingerhole in the grill! I'll have to find something to plug it before I move him out of iso.

Wow, that was fast! They are going to love it. If you block the hole in the back it will affect how the fogs rolls out of it, maybe you can make a cover out of some plastic screening? I was thinking the same thing about my new little one.
