Red face Surface molt - should I cover with sand?

My crab has shed it's exoskeleton on the rocks. Should I cover him with sand to simulate him digging under the sand? He's not in his hut either. Do I need to remove the other crab in the tank?

Leave him be and cover him with a hut--if the other crab is not bothering him then its ok (mindful to always watch) but ISO'g is not bad or coke bottle him= keep conditions stable......good luck
