Default I thought he was dead :-(

I thought Wiggle was dead and starting pulling out pieces of shell and legs, since he has been buried for over 3 weeks.

But his body retracted right to the back of his shell. Does this mean he was molting? I feel really bad for hurting him.

Can anyone help me with some advice on how to strengthen him back to health?

kind regards

I responded to your other post! Any updates on how he's doing now?

Also, I would recommend you read some of the general care tips and care sheets on this site and others (Crab Street Journal) about basic crab care and how to create the best crab-vironment for your new pets!! Please do some research to prevent this from happening again!!!!!!! Good luck!!!!

I agree 100% with silver616. Besides the caresheets on this site and the ones on CSR there are two other places that have excellent, and easy to read, information.
thecrabbagepatch.com
HERMIT-CRABS.COM. Your hermit crab care headquarters!

And I hope Wiggles is doing okay. Please let us know about his progress.
