Default what foods are good for an After-Molt??

my Hermie is getting into the molting stage, he's growing a gel limb and i would like to know what foods i should put in the tank for when he comes back to the surface?

Let me think...I'm not really sure. Try something rich in calcium such as cuttlebone or try some meat like shrimp. Hope that helps.

You can feed your crab calcium, chitin from shrimp, but also cellulose. Cellulose is a precursor to chitin and helps the crabs harden their armour when thet are in the delicate state of just having molted. Cellulose can be found in oak leaves and bark, plain popcorn, corn husks and cobs. Crabs should have one of these included in their diet daily, and especially at this delicate time.
