Default Mites! and Isolation

How do you get rid of fruit fly larve? Do I move my molter? The internet says that fruit flys feed on rotting matter.

yes. you do need to remove your molter because they are very vonerable when molted. also your suposed to remove the crab from the cage anyway because the other hermit crabs will feed on the exo-skeleton. when a hermit crab molts they have to eat thier whole exo-skeleton to regain full calcium. as for the fruit flys put a rotting fruit in the cage but makesure thew crabs dont get it. try putting the fruit in a jar. good luck!

Yes, I placed a hermie hut on top of him so my other crab won't be tempted to feed upon him. I'm monitering conditions very closely though.
