Sudden Death?!?!?!?

Woke up today to find one of my unnamed crabs Crawling around and very hyper...... 1 hour later i found him laying on his side dead!!!!!!!
next i decide to check the other crabs only to find that Speckle was dead as well!!!!!!!!!!

ive redone my tank compeltely : new every thing Baked all wood
no live plants, and what i think killed them : Organic baby food!!!!!!!!!!
( that was the only thing in the tank last night!!)

How sad, I can't believe it!! I am so sorry. What kind of organic baby food was it?

Within about a week, I lost 7 crabs. I think it was tainted food, maybe a virus. Last night I completely redid everything-new EE, new sand, boiled everything. The ones I have left seem totally fine today. And finally a day with NO DEATHS! I hope our luck changes.
Very sorry for your losses. I'm sure they will be missed.

Wow, maybe we should be changing food daily, I wonder if food that sits out too long will go bad. That seems very wierd. As for the baby food, I wonder what it does to the baby. Hermitpaws do you have any other crabs in the tat? Are they ok?

I am very sorry for your loss. I doubt it was connected to the baby food. When you opened the top, did it pop? And did you refrigerate soon as it was opened? And there's a possibility it got tainted if it was left out too long. I think that's a problem with organic food. It has no preservatives so you can only use something for a short time.
