Hi xD Im going to hopefully get a tank soon ( yes i know i have that stupid critter carrier but we wanted to make sure she wouldnt die the first week or two because then there goes the money spent on a tank! Unless i got another crab, of course) and I wanted to know your opinion on the size for two or three crabs.( of a small to medium size-big crabs creep me and my mom out xD) My mom says that the 15 gallon is just taller , but no more space than the 10 gallon on the bottom. Also, what are some good tank lids that keep the humidity in? I cant get glass, so is there an alternative that works equally well or better? Thanx!
PS: Are there any very cheap tanks/lids for the two or three medium/small crabs?

A 10g would be perfect for 2 or 3 small-medium crabs,but a 15 g is a little bigger and just a few dollars more than the 10g.

A 15g is actually about 4 inches longer,and 2 inches wider than a 10g.It's the same height as a 10g (12 inches).

As for the lids, you could get a plexiglass lid(not sure how much those cost),or a screen lid(pretty cheap).Just make sure to wrap up the screen lid in saran wrap(like you would with the CK lid).
Hope that helped a bit.

WalMart has tanks for about 10 bucks. And I have screen lids on my tanks and wrap them with the press and seal glad wrap.

thanks! I got a 10 gallon, and it has a glass cover, but the side of it ( more like one or two inches on one side) is plastic ( for fish purposes) and it can bend back, so we got that. My mom and I we looking up plexiglass, but i dont think we had much luck finding it online ( Petco & Petsmart) I didnt think the 10 g would be big enough ( my mom has 10 g fish tank and it didnt look big enough) but it was, so yeah. xD anyway, thanks yall!

I was able to get really inexpensive plexiglass at my local Home Depot and Lowe's stores
They were able to cut the piece to the proper size for my tank for free.
