Default Sponge Question

I am the mom of a new crab mom..lol Anyway my brother bought these sponges for the beach in our tank Beach Ball Sponges for Hermit Crabs - Habitat Dcor - Reptile - PetSmart

I didn't think about it and put them in cause they were so cute. Well when I woke up this morning I noticed that Snappy and/or Mo and begun to shred them. I look for more info on them and couldn't find anything that said they were safe for crabs sooooo... Should I just pitch them or will it be ok to let them shred them.

Thanks for any help

Yeah - take them out.
They will shred natural sea sponges as well. I take out those little pieces.
