Pics 1, 2 (from what I can see) and the last pic are D openings, in that the opening looks like a sideways D.
The best way to find out what size opening you need is to measure the opening of the shell your crab is currently in. As hard as that may be!! If not, measure the opening of a shell that they have recently worn, and use those measurements when you go shopping for a bigger shell. Bring a measuring tape to the store even, that way you know for sure you're getting a bigger size and not the same as what you already have.

I'm not exactly sure what you would call it. My crabs show no interest in those shells, or any with that opening. However I have seen alot of pics with crabs wearing those type of shells.
The best you can do it put a bunch of shells in your tank and see what they seem to like best.
