Hello all- I have a 10 gallon glass tank from Petsmart and I'm worried that it will not be big enough for my hermies. I don't own them yet (I want to wait and get their habitat all ready before they come home with me). How should I make a second level for my tank (and with what?).

I said in your other post to get a bigger tank---2nd levels are made with shower suction cup dishes--hemp nets--reptile nets etc etc

The nets can be held up with suction cups. The shower dishes should have absolutely no metal on it as the metal can and will rust. I use the reptile vine to connect the different levels to each other and use a suction cup at the ends which are at the main level.

Ok two things- First, I don't have enough space for a bigger gallon tank, so 10 gallon will have to do for now. And Second, do you ever worry about the crabs falling off of the second level and hurting themselves or something like that? Or are they really that commando?
-shower dishes and suction cups) from Walmart, right? I heard Walmart or the Dollar store. Not sure which is better place. I'll see if I can check them out. Are fish nets OK for them to climb up? (I found a website with cheap climbing nets...) Scroll to the bottom of the webpage and you'll find them. Any Walmart or similar should have shower caddies. With a 10 gallon, you are best getting the small ones. A craft store (like Michael's) will have nets and shells. I found that pet stores (Petco or Petsmart) will have a few items (dishes, Ecco Earth, climbing vines) but they usually sell the 'Hermie' stuff that is not recommended because of the chemicals.

WizKidsMom gave you exactly the same links I would have. Most of the owners of the sites belong to LHC forums. I have purchased from all these sites; I even buy all my crabs from one.
