Default Keeping temps down.

Not sure what to do...

My humidity is exactly where it should be, but my temp is too high right now. If I prop open the lid, I'll lose humidity. And if I only prop it temporarily, that's just a quick fix. We have the A/C on, and it's on really low as a matter of fact, because my bf insists on keeping it complete arctic in here. This is why I can't possibly understand why it's too warm in the 'tat.

What are some ways to keep the tank cooler w/o losing any humidity?

What are you using for a heat source? Heat lamps? Under the tank heater? If you are using lights to heat it, you could use one less light or lower wattage bulb. Just some suggestions. Hope that helps...

Right now I am using nothing at all, and the cage is still too hot. I'm puzzled. Thanks though!

The temp is back down to normal.

That's never happened before, very strange... but at any rate, the temps are fine now. Thanks anyhow.

Does the sun from a window hit the tank? That will spike the temperature.
