Default Substrate

I was wondering if I could use Aspen wood shavings for my crab for his substrate because I have tons of aspen from my hamster and I need to change the sand real bad but i cant go to the petstore for a while.

Wood shavings are not recommended for crab use. I don't think Aspen wood is safe anyway...you could find it in the "Safe Woods List".

When in doubt - dont do it.............yes check the list first.
