Just having 2 bowl of water in the tank, is usually is enough to keep humidity levels up. One bowl for salt water and the other for fresh water. The sand mixed with declorinated water seems to stay moist for a long time too. I have the tank lid on mine with a mesh lid under it, so that I can leave it open a crack so that it's not too humid. In the summer (before the air conditioner is on) I leave just the mesh lid over the tank so that I don't have any escapees.

Smile Re: how do i raise my humidity?

Hi redza,
a couple of things that I do to keep the humidity up (and constant) in my tat are: use coconut fiber that has been moistened with salt water in one portion of the tank, and to use moss that also gets wetted with the salt water in a shower caddy.
The hermies love to eat the moss (I use hiawatha) and the shower caddy adds more "square footage" to the tank. Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know.
