I read an old post that with Instant Ocean, you should use 1 tsp (or was it tablespoon??) in a 20 oz bottle of dechlor water. Would this apply to any salt? I bought Oceanic. It came in a 1.45 lb package, and there's only directions for making 5 gallons of salt water.
I only want to make up one 20 oz bottle of salt water at a time. Can you help me? And what about that pre-mixed salt water they sell in the hermit crab dept at the pet stores in something like 20 oz bottles? Is that stuff any good? Thanks! Donna M. |

Sorry that didnt help.... but if you have or buy Instant Ocean, the box says you can make 1 gallon of salt water by mixing the water with 1/2 cup(USA measurement) of salt .
i figuired you could just fill a few bottles and store them under the tank or in the grarage. |
