Hi. I've only had a crab for a couple weeks and have been reading through this site since I got my little Sweety. I've also been searching for yummy treats to give her. My friend has a 19 year old hermit crab and they use store bought hermit crab food along with fresh treats they cut up. coconut, fruits, one liked hamburger...
Anyway. I found this "land hermit crab treat" made by Florida Marine Research and thought I'd pass on this delight. My crab seems to love it. Ingredients: papaya, coconut, pineapple, sea salt, banana chips, apples, mangos, rolled oats and wheat germ. all of which are on the safe food list |

yes I use it but I really think it has hidden preservatives- makes sense that it would- I use it when I go away or something as it keeps better.
