I have heard mine on occasion chirp at each other, but only one actually at me. He was sick and dying and I was trying to clean "worms" off him. I may have been hurting him. He was VERY loud!

Oh, my crabs never do that with me

. Or with each other for that matter, that I've heard. I did here Georgina do it once, but she was sitting completely alone. I guess maybe she talks to herself, lol.

Don't give up... it took me about 2 years before I ever heard my crabs chirp, and now I hear them every once in a while.

Our tank is in the living room, and when it's quiet, we can hear them on occasion.
