Don't try to bathe them everyday. I never bathe mine unless we've mites or something. It stresses them out. Please do some reading up on crab care. All I can think of is that the crab could've been molting. When a crab looks like he's dead don't throw him out right away but give him some time. Maybe they'll surprise you with a molt.!!
