I put this big, oversized shell into the second level, and I swear, Batz "cuddles" with it. It was originally intended to be a higher step to make it easier for them to get into the second level. He gets hyper, runs around the tank, does whatever crabs do, then heads back up to the second level and you can always find him next to/on top of that shell ... chillin' out, sleeping, whatever. Strange, but maybe it would work for you?
