Wonder bread?

    Does anyone feed your hermies bread??? I was wanting to know because I know they can have peanut butter so I was gonna make them a little sandwhich.(Could I use grape jelly or apple butter?)

    I do not feed any processed foods such as bread. If I were you, I'd check the ingredients label and compare it to the safe and unsafe food lists at epicureanhermit.com

    Ok,there is salt in there & I checked the inedible food list & it did'nt say anything about salt.So is it ok?

    No, the salt that we eat is not ok for crabs!

    Yes, I do give them peanut butter...I use a brand called "Crazy Richard's" that I got in the grocery store b/c it's "100% natural" and has only peanuts in it (no salt, added oils, or preservatives). I just put it in the shell I use to feed them.

    So you just put it in there plain.Does it make a mess?I guess you can't you use Jiff's peanut butter then.

    No ... the peanut butter has to be organic ... no salt or preservatives, like silver616 said. And no, do not give them any type of regular grape jelly or apple butter consumed by us humans! Keep the safe food list handy. I keep mine on my fridge. That way I always have a quick reference guide.

    Thanks everyone.Msdiamonddawg I did look @ the inedible list & food list & it was'nt on there but,I do agree with no salt,preservatives,& it has to be organic.:)
