    Is Willow wood safe? like weeping willow?

    an yes i looked on the Safe Woods list. it not listed.

    Good question - you should ask it on the Epicurean Hermit site (the original site with the safe food lists and safe wood lists). I honestly am not sure on this one. I did a little bit of research and found that willow contains aspirin (salicylic acid...same thing) in its bark, so without anyone else's input, I'd lean towards no.
