    fresh papya
    fresh apple
    frozen then thawed coconut
    shrimp tails/shrimp
    crab meat

EDIT: I gotta tell you, that dinner was a hit last night! i'd look in the tank every few minutes (the one on my dresser next to my bed) and it was constant motion all night. 2 would be at the seafood dish chowing with 1 or 2 more sitting and waiting. then they'd switch over to the fruit dish. it was pretty comical. there's stuff scattered all over the place. i'm thinking i did good last night.

    That sounds Delicious! (what's Tahini?)

I served mine Malt-o-Meal last night, with spirulina & boost sprinkled on top & my Straws Mowed it down! In the smaller tank, noone touched that but they ate almost all of the Epicurean foods I put in there & the seafood feast (moist little prawns that is a major fave here). I had planned on serving the dried bean mix tonight (that I had soaked overnight in sea water), but I Anihilated it in the microwave because I didn't add enough dechlor water & they got really nasty- so scratch that til I get more beans soaked. lol I end up constantly overdoing it on the food & have to throw the majority of it away, but when there is a GOOD FEASTING night, I get very happy! :blob1: So...does anyone know where to get organic olives? Some of the canned ones have added sugar &/or salt. I had some that didn't & gave them a few slices & they went bonkers over them & ate them all up, but I don't like giving canned foods so have been trying to find organic ones ever since. Petco didn't have any of the silversides in the freezer section, where do you find those usually? My crabs took a vote & said that they want to go to Crab Addict's house for dinner tomorrow. :hello: :hareiam:

LOL, sure they can come over anytime Diane!

I will have to try your recipe of Malt-o-Meal. I know my staws LOVE multi grain Organic bread, so this they should like! :petals:

Tahini is sesame paste/butter, like peanut butter only sesame is used instead. My crabs love it when its mixed with honey, and I put it on some toast for breakfast or a healthy snack for me ;D

I purchased my silversides from Petco, although I checked the other day and they didn't have, I guess it moves quick. You can also go to your local fish market and get them Spearing, fresh Anchovie, fresh Sardines, Smelt or any little fish for that matter, and freeze it in baaggies. Try to freeze them flat as it would be easier to remove a couple each day than a whole block of fish. Also it's human grade food so you know your crabs are getting the very best. Today I went to the fish store and got some spearing for my crew.

I never tried olives, because they have sodium in them and I don't think its sea salt either.

    Tonight the babies are enjoying:

    Shrimp tails
    Organic raw peanuts
    Krabby Trail mix
    Grey sea salt
    Ocean plankton (freeze dried)
    Banan slice

All served over a bed of Organic field greens

    Ocean Nutrition Trigger fish Formula

    Sprinkled with:
    Organic raw peanuts (chopped)
    Dulse pwdr.
    Oak bark pwdr.
    Cuttlebone pwdr.

Steph got a great idea for a seafood buffet for our little guys. she has this mix thing for an asian soup and a bunch of frozen seafood. so, she decided to give everyone a little treat in celebration for our 4 new crabbies.

    Frozen Squid
    Frozen Shrimp
    Frozen Oysters
    Frozen Clams
    Frozen Papya
    Frozen Mango

let me tell you, a few seconds in the microwave to thaw got the WHOLE house stinking. but i have to say, it did a number on the crabbies. within 2 minutes of putting it into the upstairs tank i could see them peeking out and cautiously moving out of their hidey spots. they must have been loving life because even this morning there was a lot of activity. i counted 9 of 18 crabs upstairs and 12 of 15 crabs downstairs before i left for work this morning. that's very cool

    ~Dried Bean Mix
~Sea Salt Water to Soak them in overnight
~Dechlor water to cook them in the microwave
    ~Dried Krill
    ~Dried Mysis Shrimp
    ~Dried Dulce Seaweed Flakes
    ~Dried Nori Seaweed Pcs.

After soaking the Dried Bean Mix overnight, add about 1/4 cup of Dechlorinated water to the bowl & cover with wax paper. Nuke on High for 2 minutes then stir. Keep Nuking on High for 30second intervals & stirring well at each stop til the beans are soft enough to mash up a bit. Add in the dried fish, shrimp & seaweeds & mix up well with the slightly mushed up beans. Cool & serve. :tuna:

I froze some of the beans in small plastic wrapped dallops before I mixed in the other ingredients so I could try different mix-ins the next time I make it.

So far my Straws dug into it pretty well, but smaller tank hasn't yet (it's early yet). I also served a fruit & veggie salad including some orange pith, grape slices, romaine lettuce & coconut with boost sprinked around on it & some staple food in separate dishes. :elephant:
