    They didn't get too far with it. When I took it out it was all shriveled up and dried. At least I found it though, can't complain much about that, right?

    I can't touch the silversides either lol ... it took me a long time to even bring myself to be able to buy them! I always cook them for a short time (they don't smell as strong that way) but I just kind of hold the outside of the bag and "wriggle" a few of them into the pot that way so I don't have to touch them. I actually bought a clam the other day for the first time, and cooked it for the crabs ... it popped open a bit when it was done, but then I had to pry it open the rest of the way! (Insert green "sick" face here lol). It took me forever because I am a big chicken ... and I can't say I was enjoying that too much ... but I finally got it open and the crabs loved it, so in the end it was worth it. =) Anyhow ... tonight they had: Flounder, plums, romaine lettuce, organic whole wheat couscous, bloodworms, jumbo millet and pink roses.

    Boiled egg, with eggshell, krill, and shrimp exo drizzled with honey.

    Definitely a large serving, but I kinda felt bad as my last dish was just coconut, and before that just rose petals. Haven't offered honey in quite some time either. Already have four crabs in the dish, one has been there for about an hour. :icon_biggrin:

    I was pretty lazy tonight, but I think they'll forgive me. ;)

    The savory side of the "fresh" dish is a dallop of sweet potato and chicken organic babyfood with a marine cuisine cube melted on top.  The sweet half is a mixture of tahini, honey, banana baby food, coconut, raisins, and honeysuckle, with dried rose petals and kelp powder sprinkled over the whole thing.

    These flavors of baby food are new, and it's only the second time I've offered tahini (the first time I offered it with honey and a little coconut and there was a party at the food shell).

    It's so hard to wait until they come out to eat, since they usually don't do that until after we're in bed.  Tonight, I turned all the lights off and put their moon light on hoping to tempt some of them out early, so hubby and I are sitting here in the dark!  I don't think they're fooled either... LOL  Darn it!

    Roasted seaweed, crushed walnuts and my homemade food (powdered cuttlebone, crushed dried shrimp, mackerel flakes, crushed remnants of various commercial foods, fish flakes, and the main ingredient spirulina powder).

    Tonight's a dry food night since I forgot to defrost one of their fresh meals.

    I placed tonights dinner in the tanks a little while ago.  I barely walked away from the E tank, and already three Es were gathered & eating!  They must really like tonight's menu which is:

    Chopped Silversides, drizzled with olive oil
    Chopped Orange Bell Pepper. sprinkled with kelp powder
    Peas
    Cilantro Sprigs

    ~~~And my Cave loved it too!!!
    Last night was:
    Grape
    Grape Tomato
    Carrot
    Broccoli
    Coconut
    Freeze dried Cyclo-peeze, Brine Shrimp and Bloodworms sprinkled on top
    and some popcorn that was put in the night before
    I don't think my concoction got touched even though it looked really yummy and smelled nice and stinky. I think the only thing they touched was a little of the popcorn from the night before. :cussing: crabs, these ones are really picky!
    Did you chop them while they were frozen?  I found it MUCH easier to stomach & much less smell when I do that!!! :tongue3:
