I think it might be fun to have a thread like this, so I'll start.

This weekend I am making a baby quilt for a friend of mine. Her baby shower is on the 20th, so I don't have much time!

This weekend, I'm going to be snowed in to my house. I'll probably do some cross country skiing at the nature preserve/park down the road.

Well, we lost our power last night so basically all we did was make sure the fridge didn't open and let the air out, Make sure the door didn't open and let the cold air in, search for the lantern which turned out to be broken, light candles, loose internet connection and huddle under a bunch of blankets and hope it comes on soon. We've got maybe a foot and a half or soo....

My power went out too early this morning but only for two hours. The tank held it's heat and didn't go down too much, but I was prepared with a big comforter to wrap it in.
I have electric heat but have been using a wood stove for years. So luckily if the electric goes out, I at least have warmth.

So, I'll be stoking the stove, hanging out here, and watching the storm outside. :snow:

I know what I'm doing all weekend! We took the car out and attached a sled to the back and drove up aand down the street which had no cars and was plowed about once. It was awesome!

Nah, the car got stuck a few times so we were maybe going ten mph with halts and stops every once in a while. It's snow AGAIN! We've got another the 3.5 inches till we beat the all time city record of snow in one winter ever. Well, from when it was first settled. We may have gotten a little more during the ice age or something.
