SO I was at the aquarium store the other day. I saw what appeared to be hermit crabs however the man told me that indeed these were tree hermit crabs!? They had no sand in the cage. I wonder are these crabs truly different. I read the small "book" the store had on these interesting creatures and it seemed no different than the one I got when I bought my PP's or others. So is there really a difference?

Okay, I read the article. The only thing that doesn't fit is that it says they are 1 inch or less long. The ones I saw ranged from small to medium, much like PP's. But please help me look into this... It's very curious!

I thought so too when I saw them- maybe they were different they were more of a yellow color (some) but thats what I thought. I think the guy who told me was misinformed!
