The pond? hmmm, most of what is in there are hand-me-down items from my mother from when she used to work at the pet store.

its about 7 1/2 gallons, freshwater, made from Plexiglas and aquarium sealant

It has two filters, one of which is a standard 5 gal aquarium job, and the other which is an "A" Regent cartridge embedded inside the waterfall housing with its own small repti pump.

not sure what the exact part numbers are though, sorry. brb with some pics

here is the pool, waterfall, filter, and plexiglass. The country crock bowl is a temporary iso for Spirit, as he thought it was a good idea to molt in the food dish =P
the shell ramp is made from unused murex and muffin shells glued together. This way I dont have to fish out the crabs that get stuck any more

this is the betta who lives here, "Crazy Eddie" or "Ed"
He picked fights with the guppies when I bought him back in december, and has been living in the pool ever since. He is very friendly otherwise, but gets angry if i dont give him a pinch of food every time I walk by.
the fiddler crab is just a plastic toy that "Appeared" there somehow. I geuss a visitor thought it would be cute and dropped it off without my knowledge.

Close-up of the waterfall housing. This was something I aquired from mom, but I have no clue where she found it. The top half comes off, and has a slot that will fit most small filter cartridges. There is a small 1gpm pump housed behind it.

The waterfall pump and filter were okay, but didnt do anything for the nasty surface film that would develop overnight. I added the smaller black one for this. Ed seemed REALLY happy with this, and pouts when I service the set up.
