It sounds really good, but I am just wondering if it is okay to give my hermies cream. I have heard that dairy is not good for them.;)

I'm bet it's not good for them. Especially the type in a bottle that you spray. I'll go research but i bet that it's got lots of sugars and preservatives.

    Well, her are the ingredients:
Heavy Cream, Nonfat Milk, Sugar, Mono- and Diglycerides, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Carrageenan, Propellant: Nitrous Oxide.

I don't quite think that Nitrous Oxide and Carrageenan are good for hermies. So, no I imagine it's not safe.

Dairy is ok for them, as an occasional treat. Here's a link about it.

As for the ingredients look up each one that you aren't sure of. I don't have the time to right now, sorry. Personally, I'd skip the bottled or ready to buy whip creams. You can make your own from scratch, but I think it involves a lot of sugar. It really has no nutritional value. You could just put some organic milk into their dish with some strawberries.

I've made whipped cream from scratch. I use 1 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar. I'm sure there are other recipes, but all would use some sort of sugar.

Yeah, I make my own whipped cream too, but I wouldn't give it to the crabs, what with the sugar in it. You could put some of the cream (before the sugar's added) in their bowl to see if they like it, or you could buy some coconut milk for them maybe.

organic milk or coconut milk you will get a good size container of at the store. It doesn't last long(just like reg milk) so I put it into ice cube trays, freeze it then put it in freezer bags and pop out a cube when I want to. That way it doesn't go to waste.
