LOL that stinks because we have a star fruit tree out back and at certain times, there's so much fruit on it that it just falls and rots. We got half of a HUGE trash can full right around Xmas. Maybe I need to get a food dehydrater so I can dry it and send some out...lol. It wouldn't stink so bad if LHC's were actually allowed here and I could feed it to something. Our family can only eat so much of it ;)

All the Epicurean Hermit lists are 3/4's of the way down the home page under Articles:

    All lists and articles: http://www.epicurean-hermit.com/index.php?board=5.0
    Food list: http://www.epicurean-hermit.com/index.php?topic=2.0
    Might want to bookmark it.

If you don't mind firing up the stove for several hours you can try dehydrating that way. Set it on low (I don't know what temp, maybe 150), slice the fruit not too thickly and check it periodically. If it still feels moist, put it back in for a bit longer. You might have to experiment with a fruit and the temp to find the right setting but long and low would be key.

If you belong to HCAssociation they do food trades there. No offense to Vicki if one occurs here too, I'm still somewhat of a newbie to this site and don't know all the offerings yet. Just making a suggestion for a way to put that fruit to use for you.

Food trades are a good idea. Amie lives in Hawaii and there's no lhc's there. But she's offered to send me goodies for mine lol
