    I was browsing this forum and saw your pics...poor little guy with the eye deformity:eek:.....he's lucky to have a good home! Has he molted since the pic was taken...will a molt take care of the deformity or is it permanent?

    Oh I have had him over 2 years- I think at this point since he lost the vision all together that it will stay this way- which is way better than what it was. All odds were against him that he would even get this much back--he is my FIRST crab since I started this again. :)

    lol. i have a crab like that, with hardly any eye left that started my obsession 6 years ago. i got her from a friend in a small kritter keeper with fish gravel and just a sponge in the tank. i kept her that way alone for almost a year. then i did some research and got her a ten gallon tank with a water bowl and a mister. then a year after that i went crazy. i got more crabs and i switched to the eco earth. now i have a 20 long with 13 crabs and mostly exotic species. is crazy to see how much you can learn from talking to other hermie addicts over the years!
