Snails

    Question..Why can't you feed your crabs snails that you find roaming around?

    Because you don't know what they've come into contact with while they were out and about being a snail. Example, psticides from someones lawn or garden.

    vckums is right, you dont' no if that snail ate fertilizer

    That, and some snails are poisonous to humans and crabs. It's just like why you can't feed them mushrooms from your yard, or why you can't eat mushrooms from your yard. Even experts on mushroom identification can never be 100% sure if a mushroom they find is safe, and we can never be sure that a snail we find is safe, so better to be on the safe side!
