Can I do anything special to encourage my hermit-crabs to molt?

    :p

Your crabs will molt when they are ready.

Just make sure the conditions are right, and you should have no problems!

    Some suggestions....

Make sure your substrate is deep enough and a "diggable" type of substrate. Like at least twice as deep as your largest crab.

Have 2 bowls of water; one with salt water. They tend to seek more salt prior to molting.

    Keep good humidity levels.

Make sure you have extra calcium source for after molting.

make sure the substrate is moist. If it's sand make sure it's sand castle consistency. You should be able to poke a hole in it.

    Thanks guys...

My crabitat has all of that... The humidity, the "sand-castle-like" sand, the temperature, two water dishes (salt and fresh), I'm adding some cuttle-bone tonight...
