second level in crabitat

    upgrading soon, I have a 10 gallon, I have not had good luck with second level staying up.  suction cups are awful , what has worked for you guys any and all suggestions welcome! thanks sooo much. :dontknow: :noidea: :smallhi:

    I use the 3M hooks that work really well.  They're expensive but in the end worth it in my opinion.  They stay where you put them as long as you follow the instructions.  I got mine at Walmart in the hardware section where they keep the hooks.  :flower:

    I also have the Command 3M hanging hooks and I haven't had any problems with mine either. I got mine from the hardware section of the Dollar General.

    I used clear acrylic rods with holes drilled in them. Then I attached them with aquarium sealant. I did do a post on here about it,  I will try to find it.

    my husband took my acrylic  rods to work today to cut, and he took a hermie hut to give it a bigger opening. I'ts starting to come together, can't wait till it's done.

    Put a drop of olive oil in the suction cup,smear it around and let it sit 10 minutes. Then wipe it out and place it where you want it,holds great!
