Mine eat spirulina powder - it's an algae available at health food stores. Mine also eat the dulse seaweed from Vicki's store, algae crisps (again, from the addiction store), kelp, sea lettuce, and spirulina/veggie flake mixture (addiction store).

I know some people do use seaweed from pet stores, but I've never done it yet.

I take it nori (the seaweed sheets they use to wrap sushi rolls) would be OK, as long as it doesn't have anything bad added to it?

I would think so. I know others have offered it (made their own crab 'sushi' with it).

    sold at health food stores.
