    Don't buy your sand at the pet store to much $$$$. go to lowes or aHome Depot. you can get 50 pounds of play sand for $3.00 that cheap and its safe

    i got play sand and it was really tooo wet so i baked mine does that make me strange.... i wanted to make shure there was nothing icky in it

    the play sand you buy at home depot is safe and ready to use right out of the bag. no it doesn't make u strange tiffiemarie.

    Actually, it is suggested that you bake playsand before you use it. Sometimes when you buy the bags, it is wet, and you don't know what is in it, especially if it has been sitting outdoors. That was smart of you to do Tiffimarie.

    Is the sand safe though?I threw it out.(I got sand from a beach in Kauia.)
