Yeah, it finally happened. :-( I'd been suspecting she was getting worse as ever since she dropped her feeding claw a few days ago she's been more inclined to push food away from her mouth than to shovel it in.

At least in crabbie heaven she's caught up with all her legs and Eileen will not lean any more.

    We tried.

    Awwh!

I'm so sorry to hear that, I really am.

But like you said, you tried.

She's in a better place now.

    :(

Sorry about your crab. I dont wanna be rude I just had a lil chuckle when I read that Eileen wouldnt have to lean anymore. It reminded me of that Ihop joke. Again I am sorry I dont mean to be rude or make light of the situation it just struck me as funny.

Hehehe no it's ok, it's why I named her Eileen...because when I got her she was missing her two walking legs on the big pincher side (I didn't know that when I bought her because she was so shy she was squinched up in her shell). Finally she did come out of her shell a bit and i could see she was missing a few legs, so I named her Eileen, because she leaned. ;-)

I'm so sorry. :( Poor Eileen. You tried your best and cared for her and loved her so much. She's lucky she had you to help her and pick her up when she fell down. Now she's in Hermie Heaven, happier than ever! Maybe she met my hermies.

Maybe she will lean, just for fun, and live up to her name. :D But it's good that she won't have to now.

So sorry to hear of your loss.
Eileen is in a better place now where she will always have natural food and fresh shells and never have to moult again.

Are you going to bury her?
