When I went to give my hermies their first saltwater bath ever, I found Lucky in the tank, dead. She was the sweetest crab I've owned and she never pinched anyone, (I guess considering she lost her large claw before I got her), and she outlived my manager's expectations 100 fold. I'm so proud of her for holding out this long, and through the stress of losing all of her legs, at least making it to the stage where she grew "Gels" in their places.

She was the baby of my crabby family, and she will be extremely missed.

    Rest in peace, Lucky.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Whenever a crab gives up it's life it leaves something behind, knowledge. We grow in our knowledge and understanding of them, and that is their parting, loving gift to us.
