repticare rock heaters

    is zoo med repticare rock heater ok for them? because i dont have stand or table

    Is this basically a hot rock? I wouldn't reccomend those -- I have heard that they can get to hot, even for a reptile, and cause burns.

    You could mount a UTH on the side, rather than the bottom of your tank, though.

    ok thanks, i just went to store to get climbing stuff, and i thought id might as well check it said it cant be humid or it can shock them, ok thanks but i just wasted all my money on other stuff [​IMG]

    Hi, I had a hot rock and it does get too hot for the crabs. Don't get one. Use heat lamps, you can get those cheap at Home Depot, or UTH heaters. I stuck mine to the back of the tank rather than under it and they love to "snuggle" up by it.

    Mine also like to snuggle up by the UTH on the side of the tank.
