:hello: I put up the crabbie's new purple hammock today, check it out ...

...& this is my 14 year old firebelly newt, Jasper who has always had some sort of tumor or something on his back, it almost goes away then flares back up & looks icky, but it has never slowed him down & doesn't even seem to hurt so I guess it's nothing to worry about after having it for 14 years! His mate (or friend, Ambrosia) died just last year. I can't add another because new ones usually fight & I also haven't been able to find any of this particular species at any pet stores for many years now (he's not a paddletail)....

...and Sage, one of my 7 year old African Clawed Frogs that I raised from a tadpole...she's saying, "Hi". The male (Saffron) is a bit more shy & somewhat smaller than Sage....

...here's Xander hamming it up for the camera...

...and my smaller tank, but everybody is hiding as usual during the day. I use red lighting at night & it doesn't photograph well unfortunately...

When I get more photos with the Hermies actually on the hammock, I'll get 'em up here too.
Hope all are having a Great evening! :petals:

    Looks great!

We have two african clawed frogs too - little did I know that the "Grow- a - frog" kit my son got 5 years ago would turn into such large frogs! We actually had a male and female and did have eggs - but we have 2 females now who are 3 years old. Everyone freaks out when they see them - but the cat, who loves to drink the water from their tank!

What a pretty color of Purple! Looks very nice in your tank.

7 years for a frog? Wow! I would have never guessed they would have such a life span! Congrats on such a long time together!

    :thanks: ...guys,
yours are adorable too! Pets just fill the void. They love unconditionally each in their own way. Although I Don't think the new ones ever want to see me again after the stress bath. :sad5:
