Pix of Hammock in 20g Tank & more...

    :hello: I put up the crabbie's new purple hammock today, check it out ...

    ...& this is my 14 year old firebelly newt, Jasper who has always had some sort of tumor or something on his back, it almost goes away then flares back up & looks icky, but it has never slowed him down & doesn't even seem to hurt so I guess it's nothing to worry about after having it for 14 years! His mate (or friend, Ambrosia) died just last year. I can't add another because new ones usually fight & I also haven't been able to find any of this particular species at any pet stores for many years now (he's not a paddletail)....

    ...and Sage, one of my 7 year old African Clawed Frogs that I raised from a tadpole...she's saying, "Hi". The male (Saffron) is a bit more shy & somewhat smaller than Sage....

    ...and my smaller tank, but everybody is hiding as usual during the day. I use red lighting at night & it doesn't photograph well unfortunately...

    When I get more photos with the Hermies actually on the hammock, I'll get 'em up here too.

    Wow I love the purple! It's so hard for me to not buy one of each color LOL

    Your pet family is sooooooooooooooo cute!

    Looks great!

    We have two african clawed frogs too - little did I know that the "Grow- a - frog" kit my son got 5 years ago would turn into such large frogs! We actually had a male and female and did have eggs - but we have 2 females now who are 3 years old. Everyone freaks out when they see them - but the cat, who loves to drink the water from their tank!

    What a pretty color of Purple! Looks very nice in your tank.

    7 years for a frog? Wow! I would have never guessed they would have such a life span! Congrats on such a long time together!

    yours are adorable too! Pets just fill the void. They love unconditionally each in their own way. Although I Don't think the new ones ever want to see me again after the stress bath. :sad5:
