The most I've gotten is a crummy view of a leg in some EE and a ginormous flash from that stupid camera....

Usually cell phone pictures are really crummy. When I don't use the flash it's all dark and you can't see a think. Anyways, He's not molting anymore so I can't get a pic.

Congrats on the molt - now leave him alone...don't stress him while he's hardening or he may die. Don't you hate how fragile crabs can be sometimes? I mean, at other times they're tough as nails - living over a year without proper humidity or molting-friendly conditions, but then once they molt...they're as fragile as a piece of china.

If you managed to scare him from under the tank (which you said you did), he's not a fan of having people appear in what was, when he dug down, a completely dark environment. I've done the "peek at the crabs" thing myself, but then I got a 30g tank and it's too heavy to move...I'm really glad too because otherwise I'd still want to check even though I know I shouldn't. It's really hard, I understand that, but it is best for the recovering crab.

yea, i just checked though to see what was going on, i didn't know if he was still alive, (though nothing i would have done would kill him, you still never know) i havn't checked on him since. i know now that he molted and he should probably come up in the next week or so. i just hope lyla and bruce dont try to find and eat him! :-/
