    I wonder if you can have toads and geckos in the same aquarium?
    I guess it doesn't really matter, I can just put toads in one aqu and geckos in the other, if I decide I want both.

    I think I might do that. =]

    Amphibians will carry it too. The possibility of getting salmonella is of course, there. However, if you exercise clean handling (as you should for any pet), then you will be perfectly safe. Always wash your hands BEFORE and AFTER handling a pet.

    On a side note, I believe geckos are pretty pricey. Not sure if his budget will allow for that. If you want something super cheap and practically maintenance free, go for sea monkeys. Haha... (Joke!)

    The bad thing about iguanas is that some people allo them to roam free in their homes...that's like inviting an illness:eek:....I agree that with proper aminities and good hand washing, they are relatively safe pets.
